Steve Mooney of Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club stopped by and met with teacher John Lavassar and this year’s fifth grade salmon ambassadors on Dec. 17. He presented a $1,500 check to fund this year’s “Salmon in the Classroom” hands-on learning program — the third year that Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club has been a patron of this program through the Foundation’s Adopt-A-Grant Program.
